I am pleased to report that Pepe and Scruffy are doing well.
Pepe's wound is healing well. Very lucky. Scruffy is not limping now. Very lucky.

Pepe and Scruffy get sick in the same week
Last week I was busy minding Pepe and Scruffy. They are doing good now. Off to the vet tomorrow again with Pepe. What would we all do without the great vets

Scruffy bites the lock off the stables door
I brought Scruffy and Pixie into the stables as I was waiting on Linda Thompson, from The Donkey Sanctuary, to do a home check. Off I went to the shops to grab

The Diary

17 July 2010

I would like to ask you all to say a wee prayer for Walter. My best friend, Jill, had to let Walter go yesterday. Walter was an exquisite rescued dog who poured love on everyone who met him. He was only 4 years old - too short a life for such a beautiful creature. I adored Walter and I cannot imagine how poor Jill is feeling as Walter was laid to rest today. Walter loved the beach so I am taking Tess, Blossie, Bubbles, Pepe, Pluto, Sandy and Meg to the beach now in memory of Walter. My rescued crew will have a swim for Walter.

I bought a new bed for Bubbles today as he is sore after a swim now that he is old. His bark is very hoarse - the bark of an old dog. Poor Bubbles. I let him sleep in at night and I listen to him snoring.

Every moment is precious with every pet I have here.

I am just in from giving Bláithín, Blackie, Paddy, Scruffy and Pixie their treat of apples and carrots for today. Plenty of bonding time for me. As I give each of them an apple I give each of them a kiss on their soft silky noses.

Talk Soon

Enjoy the good weather
