I am pleased to report that Pepe and Scruffy are doing well.
Pepe's wound is healing well. Very lucky. Scruffy is not limping now. Very lucky.

Pepe and Scruffy get sick in the same week
Last week I was busy minding Pepe and Scruffy. They are doing good now. Off to the vet tomorrow again with Pepe. What would we all do without the great vets

Scruffy bites the lock off the stables door
I brought Scruffy and Pixie into the stables as I was waiting on Linda Thompson, from The Donkey Sanctuary, to do a home check. Off I went to the shops to grab

Cottage Album

The cottage as seen from the back field

After a walk with the dogs - we are greeted by the dark mystic tree

The gable end of the cottage with a hint of a rainbow

A pot of gold! Where? - I've looked everywhere!

Tess at the bottom of the rainbow - she's my pot of gold!

A beautiful irish cottage deserves a double rainbow!

A double rainbow is nature's way of saying "hello and welcome"!

Bleak but beautiful - the mystical tree is always there to warm my spirit and protect.

Buttons in the snowy yard - asking " when will you light the fire? I'm freezing!"

The cottage suits the snow!

Tess and Buttons waiting patiently for the snow to melt

No picnics today on the picnic bench - but the mystical tree is a perfect ingrediant for a snow scene

My dream home - a photo taken 20 years ago by me as I never passed this cottage without sitting and wishing I could live here - now I do!

A barren beauty almost hidden from the road - Horn Head Pet Sanctuary traditional irish cottage

A closer view of the cottage from the road - the perfect setting for a pet sanctuary

The magic mystical tree against a blue sky

Magnificent Stone Steps made by my Uncle Charlie - at the entrance to the front field

The sun trying to get through! The stone wall in my front yard - painted with snow.4th Jan 2008

The beautiful stone wall in my yard with the white hills behind - a freezing cold day with blizzards!

A whitewashed cottage blends in with the white snow

Bleak - but beautiful

The sun trying to break through! January 2008 - our first taste of snow! Or rather blizzards!

Anyone for a picnic?! My lovely picnic spot is not so inviting today! 4th Janaury 2008

The mystical tree has shaken off most of the snow. The stone steps are still covered in a thick layer of snow. Beautiful

Bleak but beautiful. 4th January 2008

A closer look at the stone steps made by my Great Uncle Charlie - they look superb with a layer of snow

The snowy stables as seen from my front door! Jan 4th 2008

The wild "garden" behind the cottage frosting up in the blizzard. 4th Jan 2008

Part of my front gate and the beautiful stone wall in the front yard. The stone wall carries the snow well!

A view from behind the cottage with a background of the bright sunset skies over Bloodyforeland Oct 27th 2008. Notice the trees in the back garden have lost their leaves. So what protection do we have when the wild NW winds blow? None!

My beautiful cottage on a sunny winter Christmas Eve 2008

A pretty little window of my cottage kindly allows the snow to gather and rest! 19th January 2009

My Christmas tree in the yard! Nature provides the real thing on Christmas Day 2009

Anyone for a picnic on Christmas Day 2009?!
